Questionnaire study to look at views of ladies who had been fitted (at Liverpool Women's Preterm Birth Clinic) with an Arabin pessary to treat a short cervix to reduce the risk of extremely preterm birth.
It was suggested that there isn't enough information available to women about this treatment when they receive it, by women who are part of our Patient and Public Involvement group (PPI).
The information collated will be vital to us in writing a new patient information leaflet for women at risk of preterm birth who require treatment.
