Lady Harris and Wellbeing of Women visit and Patient & Public Engagement Meeting
Thanks to all who attended the meeting at the Harris-Wellbeing Preterm Birth Centre. It was a wonderful day and Lady Harris enjoyed meeting members of the PPI group as well as receiving an update about our research.
Special thanks to the Fetal Medicine Unit @LWH, the Neonatal Unit @LWH, Little Heartbeats (PPROM support group) and Kids in Bloom Nursery @ University of Liverpool.

World Prematurity Day
The Harris-Wellbeing Preterm Birth Centre at the Liverpool Women's Hospital in partnership with the University of Liverpool, are in full support of raising awareness for World Prematurity Day.
As part of the awareness day we held a Staff bake and cake sale and received £194.50 in donations which will benefit the Harris-Wellbeing preterm birth research in conjunction with Liverpool Women's Charity at the Liverpool Women's Hospital.

As part of the awareness day we had a research information stand in the main reception area of the Liverpool Women's Hospital and also held a staff bake sale. The donations (£213.87) will benefit the Harris-Wellbeing Preterm Birth Research Centre in conjunction with Liverpool Women's Charity at the Liverpool Women's Hospital.

World Prematurity Day
The Harris-Wellbeing Preterm Birth Centre at the Liverpool Women's Hospital in partnership with the University of Liverpool, are in full support of raising awareness.
The University of Liverpool's Active Learning Laboratory, in the School of Engineering on Brownlow Hill, will be illuminated in purple to mark World Prematurity Day - 17 November 2016.
As part of the awareness day we are inviting people to "wear purple" to raise awareness and donations will benefit the Harris-Wellbeing Preterm Birth Research Centre in conjunction with Liverpool Women's Charity at the Liverpool Women's Hospital.

Patient & Public Involvement Group Meeting
Thanks to all who attended the meeting in April. We listened to presentations and updates about preterm birth research and nano medicines. Research studies currently being developed were also presented and the feedback received was valuable.
Thank you also to Ciara Curran from Little Heartbeats who spoke to us at the meeting about PPROM (Preterm Prelabour Rupture of Membranes).
